Mercator was launched in 2012 by PR professional Nell Hegarty, whose genuine passion, in depth knowledge and contagious enthusiasm for all things travel related has led her to work in the industry for over 15 years. More recently, former travel journalist Amanda Hyde has joined the agency, bringing insider knowledge of travel trends, newsworthy stories and how travel desks, magazines and influencers operate. Disenchanted with the traditional travel industry and excited about the sea change within the media, we are committed to working with brands who are rewriting the definition of luxury travel, with a focus on responsibility and sustainability.

Offering a highly personalised service, we work as an extension of your in-house team. Our approach is transparent. We are involved in every aspect of the business from cherry picking a relevant and noteworthy client list through to strategy and planning, implementation and day-to-day management.
